Symposium Host Services (SHS) acts as an intermediary between the conference organizer and the third party services suppliers providing services included in the registration fee only. Liability and responsibility is limited to its intermediary role, and SHS cannot be held responsible for any irregularities n the provision of their services. In order to deliver the best service to its clientele wherever needed, especially in difficult circumstances SHS will try to cover within the limits of its own powers resulting irregularities. For registrations to be valid, an agreed registration fee is required. For any amendment SHS will do its best to realize the client’s request. All applicable cancellation charges as per the conference organizer will come into effect on the dates mentioned for each specific event. The clients of SHS can pay in cash (up to the amount of EURO 1.500,-), main credit cards and wire transfer

Insurance: SHS has entered an insurance contract of Civil Professional Liability of Travel Agencies as instructed by the EU bill 90/314 (EEL 158/59) and the respective Government Act of 5th September 1996.  

Complaints: If a well grounded problem or complaint emerges for any case in regards to a delegate’s registration s/he has to submit it within 14 calendar days from the date of return so as to enable us to investigate the complaint within a reasonable period of time after the incident. Failing to do so will affect the complainant legal rights and will reduce or even render them nil and void and as well as any compensation which might have been claimed.  Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the client to assure that for the duration of the travel period s/he is in the possession of all the necessary valid documents (i.e. passport, visas, vaccination certificates etc..), or that these do not expire during the travel period. Please note that the purpose of any standard information provided by SHS only refers to Greek passport holders. Non-Greek passport holders should ascertain themselves of all procedures related to their case. Until the issuance of the present document this information could be inaccurate. SHS cannot be held responsible if a passenger is not in possession of the proper documents required to enter any country he/she is visiting. If this occurs, SHS will do whatever possible to help, but any assistance offered is an action of goodwill and SHS reserve the right to claim from the passenger all expenses involved. Please bear in mind that in some countries fines are imposed if one fails to demonstrate the possession of the right documents to enter this country.



Acceptance of terms and conditions concerning reservations, or program of SHS is subject to customer’s acceptance of all conditions mentioned above without any reservation.
The above conditions are effective as of 1st of January 2011. In case of changes of any term, the customer will be advised in due time. 
 

Applicable Law


The actual reservations terms and conditions are subject to Greek Law and any differences which might arise will be under the proceedings of the courts of Greece.
